70's Vintage Jessica's Gunnies Maxi Skirt. Cotton/poly.
High waist, hook/eye and zip-up back, attached back ties, 2 x front pockets, full maxi skirt, lace trim.
Vintage Gunne Sax 9, but would also fit a Vtg Gunne 11 as well (Please know your Vintage GS size and check all measurements), would best fit a modern S (27" waist).
Strong colors and crisp fabric!
This skirt presents beautifully but does have a few structural issues:
- There should be a lace panel at the waist, previous owner removed
- I am 99% sure the attached ties have been resewn onto the skirt as the stitching is a little wonky and the fabric is usually stitching into the seam (outside stitch used here), this can only be seen when the ties are not tied.
- The hook/eye looks to have been moved, probably why the extra .5" is given to this 9.
This skirt screams FALL! The mix of prints is sooo good, you will adore it!!!
