70's Vintage Gunne Sax Blouse + Midi Skirt Set. Cotton/rayon/nylon.
Blouse is mock neck, button-up front, long sleeve with 3 button cuffs, lace and ribbon trim. Vtg Gunne Sax 9 (Please know your Vintage Gunne Sax size and check all measurements), would best fit a modern XS or S.
Skirt is corset waist, zip-up back, 2 x side pockets, full midi skirt, lace and ribbon trim. No vintage Gunne Sax size tag, this was most likely a Vtg Gunne 9 (Please know your vintage GS size and check all measurements), would best fit a modern S (26" waist).
One owner set, lovingly cared and stored.
Strong colors and crisp fabric. I am not sure why the blouse has the GS label and the skirt the JG label, but this set 100% went together. Only minor issues are two thread pulls to the blouse- one on the front bodice and one on the side bodice and some rough stitching at the end of the zipper line on the skirt.
A pleasure to wear together or separate, definitely a collector's set!!!
