Lovely 70's Vintage Jessica's Gunnies Midi Skirt. Cotton/nylon/rayon.
One button and zip-up back, apron overlay skirt, 2 x side pockets, lace and ribbon trim.
No Vintage Gunne Sax size tag, this was either a Vtg Gunne 11 or 13 (Please know your Vintage GS size and check all measurements), would best fit a modern M (28" waist).
I purchased this skirt for my niece from another great GS seller and collector. At the time it just had some minor fading that was disclosed. My niece took it to college and washed it improperly (apparently there was a boy in the laundry room and she was not paying attention to her wash, haha) and the majority of the front black apron overlay panel faded.
We have done extensive color pen correction with heat set markers (photos show major areas of correction). There is now no overly noticeable fading on the outer (some on the lining does remain but does not affect the outer), but there are shade variations to the black fabric and some of the heat set markers did litely bleed into the polka dot. The green fabric underneath is perfect. I do believe the button at the waist has been moved slightly as well.
Please know if you are not familiar with the color correction markers that they will fade lightly with each wash, and you will need to continuously color correct over time.
This is still an AMAZING skirt in a great Gunne size ready for Fall!
