70's Vintage Gunne Sax Mockneck Button Front Side Ties Midi Dress with the gorgeous red floral print. Cotton/poly/rayon.
Mock neck, button-up front, two double attached size ties, 2 x side pockets (omg they are even lined with the red floral print-divine!), full midi skirt, ribbon trim.
Vintage Gunne Sax 7 (Please know your vintage GS size and check all measurements), would best fit a modern XS or S (33" pit to pit can reach 34", but you prob do not want to strain the button front unless you add snaps).
The red floral has strong color, nice firm fabric.
Issues:
1. There is a 2" darned area to the back of the sleeve (elbow area- last photo). I seriously wore this twice and did not even notice it, it's so well done in a matching red and patched on the inside
2. Lite fray to button holes and some buttons looked to have been re-sewn on
3. Denim has one pull on front skirt- very minor
4. The four attached ties look to have been hand tacked down as the edges were coming loose- it is an ok sewing job, they are secure and look fine
5. Very lite seam stress to sleeves
This dress is a dream, even with the darned area, you will adore it!
