70's Vintage Gunne Sax Blue White Gingham Maxi Sundress. Cotton/poly.
Scoop neck, corset bodice, zip-up back, attached back ties, full maxi skirt, lace trim.
No vintage Gunne size tag, this was most likely a Vtg Gunne 9 (Please know your vintage GS size and check all measurements), would best fit a modern XS or S.
This dress presents well but does have some issues:
1. This cutie has been shorten 4", it is not reversible as the previous owner cut the fabric. The hem job is ok-fair with some wonky stitch, slightly higher in the back than in the front and they used an incorrect marking pen- this can only be seen on the inside of the fabric.
2. The sides of the bodice look to have been restitched too as the serging is not factory done, this job is well done.
3. A stay has been added to the zipper. The zipper works fine up to the stay where underneath there is a tiny gap.
4. One tiny pit to fabric at waist.
This one is adorable on!
