Description: 60's Vintage Celopatra Broumand Dirndl Style Blouse and Midi Skirt Set. Cotton/poly- a mid weight crepe style fabric with nylon trim.
Peasant blouse with scoop neck, zip-up back, long sleeve with elastic cuffs, ribbon trim.
Midi skirt is metal zip and hook/eye back, full tiered with ribbon and lace trim.
No vintage size tag this would best fit a modern M (skirt could be a modern L as well, but top may be slightly too small for a modern L).
I do not have provenance for this piece as I picked it up at a very funky estate sale. Google search shows Cleopatra Broumand label as vintage 60's, but the notions on the top are more 70's than 60's (also notions on top and skirt differ, but trim is exact so I am assuming they were a set).
Strong colors and crisp fabric.
Blouse has had elastic at cuffs changed out, otherwise excellent.
Skirt has yellowing to bottom lace trim and the belt ties are not original (ribbon differs from the other ribbon and the install looks hand done- I left as is, very easy to remove if you choose).
Such a great novelty set for style or play!
