Super cute 1969 Black Label Gunne Sax Blue Calico and Butterflies Corset Maxi Dress. Cotton.
Scoop neck, zip-up back, corset bodice, full maxi skirt, ric-rac trim.
Vintage Gunne Sax 9 (Please know your vintage Gunne Sax size and check all measurements), would best fit a modern S.
This dress is lovely with strong color and nice, soft natural flecked cotton.
Issues:
1. There was a rip at the hem so I moved over the pleat (photos show outside and inside of repair), not well seen in the fullness of the sweep, but this was not an easy repair on this heavier muslin/poplin fabric and it doesn't conceal fully.
2. There are two tiny snags at the hem one on the front and one on the back- very tiny, and on the snag at the back hem there is some lite yellowing (I think the snag was caused by someone trying to clean the yellow there). Both are lost in the sweep.
3. Natural fabric pull on apron, it is by the ric-rac trim and not well seen.
