Description: PLEASE NOTE- Sizing Fabulous 60's Vintage Hand Beaded Cardigan. No garment label- most likely a cotton/wool/cashmere blend with nylon lining. Collared, lined, faux pearl button front, hand beaded. This is marked a Vintage 40, I do believe that it has shrunk at some point as it measures smaller than a Vtg 40 and the lining is quite loose for the size, would best fit a modern XS. The sleeves sit at more of a 3/4 length than a long sleeve, unsure if this is original or part of possible shrinkage.
This piece presents well (the beading is truly outstanding), but does have some minor issues: 1. There are lite marks to the outer- one at cuff and one to front of bodice by hem 2. There are three marks to the lining- these do not affect the outer 3. There is one hole to the lining that has been hand stitched- this does not affect the outer 4. Lining is slightly looser than it probably should be- it also appears someone has restitched the lining at the hem. 5. No noticeable missing beaded areas, but some beads may be loose 6. Lite piling per age
