Lovely 50's Vintage Bloomfield Junior Cocktail Dress. No garment label- tafetta- mid weight.
Peter Pan collar with beaded detail, button-up back, 2 x side pockets, full midi skirt.
No vintage size tag, would best fit a modern L.
This dress presents well but does have issues:
- Lite yellowing at armholes
- Three pin dot holes at the back of the sleeve.Someone has placed a fuse patch here, it is not the best fix as the outline of the patch can be seen
- Tiny hole at waist
- Pin dot hole to skirt- this is lost in the sweep
- Seams are very brittle and all the darts are starting to loosen. It does look like the previous owner did some seam repairs to the bodice that are not the best, and I redid the seams on the sides of the skirt and pockets, but expect this gal to need frequent mending.
Still a fab dress for photos or an inspiration piece in a great size!
