50's Vintage Black Cocktail Dress. No garment tag- most likely handmade- possibly acetate/silk blend with a felt/cardboard lining hip bustle pads.
Scoop neck, metal-zip up drop back, small back ruffle train, fitted waist, hip pads.
No vintage size tag, this would best fit a modern XS (25" waist).
Issues:
This dress has water/steam marks and is in need of a proper dry cleaning (buyer's discretion- priced accordingly). There are some pits to the fabric at; the bodice (came with a broach attached), shoulder strap, front waist, and on the front and back of the skirt hem. These are not holes, just pits to the fabric.
The inside hip pad bustle needs to be steam cleaned to reshape.
