Description: PLEASE NOTE- Condition.
Lovely 70's Vintage Gunne Sax Yellow Maxi Dress. Cotton/poly/acetate/nylon.
V-neck with corset bodice, zip-up back, sheer lace sleeves, attached back ties, full maxi skirt, acetate lined, lace trim.
Vintage Gunne Sax 9 (Please know your Vintage Gunne Sax size and check all measurements), would best fit a modern S (26" waist).
This dress presents well but does have some issues:
1. Lite seam stress to back of bodice.
2. Looks like there was a small seam repair to the front of the bodice that was done incorrectly- it is not bad, I was afraid to pull out not knowing why they did it- very minor.
3. There is a section of the back of the ruffle hem that has 3 pin dot holes and some snags. One other tiny hole to front of ruffle hem.
4. Two snags to back second tier of back skirt.
5. This dress has a 1.5" double folded reverse hem. The fabric does look to be cut and the hem is not stitched, just hard pressed (there is some hem tape residue- possibly this was used at one point). To me it looks to hang slightly higher in the front than the back. There are also two snags in just right above the folded hem.
6. Tiny area of lace trim repaired with hand stitch.
7. Pin dot hole to acetate lining of back shoulder- does not go through the voile, but can be seen from outer.
Still a lovely dress ready for a Princess!
