Rare Colorway 70's Vintage Gunne Sax Maxi Sundress. Corduroy- cotton/poly/nylon.
Sweetheart neck, corset bodice, zip-up back, full maxi skirt, ribbon trim. I do not believe the strings were meant to be tied as they are too short, but I do show them that way in the photo.
No Vintage Gunne Sax size tag, this was most likely a Vtg Gunne 13 (Please know your Vintage Gunne Sax size and check all measurements), would best fit a modern M.
This dress presents well but does have FLAWS:
- Three patched areas of rips/holes to the ruffle hem. Photos show inside and outside patch. I used a taupe fuse patch as I could not find hot pink anywhere. I have washed this dress twice and the fuse patched held, but on this corduroy this will not be a permanent fix after a few more washes.
- Reverse 2" hem
- Seam stress to back of straps from improper hanging
- Color bleed to front of apron inlay, inlay on trim, corset clunny lace, and ribbon trim in several areas
