70's Vintage Gunne Sax Pink Bicentennial Prairie Maxi Dress. Cotton/nylon.
V-neck, flounce with lace trim to corset bodice, zip-up back, 3/4 sleeves with lace trim, peplum over skirt, full maxi skirt.
No Vintage Gunne Sax size tag, this was most likely a Vtg Gunne 9 (Please know your vintage Gunne Sax size and check all measurements), would best fit a modern XS or S.
This dress presents well but does have issues:
- On the collar one side has yellowing and the other side has some color bleed that did not lift with wash.
- There are 7 spots (yellowing) that I have faded, but did not completely lift with wash. 3 are on the hem ruffle and get lost in the sweep, two to front of skirt and two pin dot marks to front of skirt.
- The ivory coloring to the full skirt is splotchy in places, this dress has been washed improperly over it's life.
- One snag to back of skirt.

This is still a darling piece with a lot of life left in a rarer shade of pinky/peach. Perfect for reenactment or cosplay, for just as a cutie Valentine's Day Dress!
